In just eight days, you’ll explore the dazzling souqs and palaces of Marrakesh, head off on a day trip to the imposing Atlas Mountains, and finish off your stay in the atmospheric and photogenic ramparts of Essaouira, home to miles of stunning beaches ideal for some R&R after your dose of culture.
At just three hours apart, this two-centre whistlestop holiday idea is the perfect balance of chaos and calm. It might be a quick trip, but we’ve made sure there’s ample time for getting to know Morocco's culture, people and history, as well as sitting back to enjoy the sunshine. You'll fly directly into Marrakesh, where a driver will meet you, assist with your luggage, and ensure a seamless journey from the airport to your riad in the medina. Once you arrive, help yourself to a refreshing, complimentary glass of mint tea and settle into your new surroundings for the night.
We've left this morning clear for you to relax or explore the city at your own pace. You might choose to enjoy a traditional Moroccan breakfast in your riad or head straight out to explore more of the sights. Stroll through the peaceful gardens of Marrakesh, such as the Majorelle Garden or the Agdal Gardens, or simply relax in your courtyard. This afternoon, you’ll take on a culinary tasting tour in the notorious square of Jemaa el Fna. Here, you’ll enter a world brought to life by traditional Moroccan entertainment and cuisine, where your guide will help you navigate the square and sample plenty of authentic dishes.
Your holiday comes to an end today as you'll be picked up from your coastal hotel by your private driver and driven back to Marrakesh Airport in time for your flight back to the UK. It's been short, but hopefully sweet, and just the start of plenty of Morocco adventures to come!
