At HA, we design tailor-made holidays shaped entirely around you, and we genuinely mean it. You won't find any off-the-shelf, cookie-cutter itineraries here. We're all about honest advice, expert knowledge, and a shared love of travel. Every holiday we create is personal. We'll get to know you, listen to what's important, swap stories, and work with you until we understand what a holiday really means to you. Then we'll work until every detail feels spot-on. Let's get started!
Our story
Since launching back in 2010, Holiday Architects has set out to really listen to our clients. We get to know you, we get to know your travel needs, and we design the perfect holiday to match.
It all began in a little spare room in Cheltenham, when our founder Andy started selling holidays to South Africa. Today, we’re a close-knit team designing trips to a range of incredible destinations worldwide, from Namibia to Vietnam, Canada to Morocco. (Have a browse of them all here!)
We might have grown, but our approach hasn’t changed. Everything we do is still centred around genuine experience and connection. Connection with each other as a team. Connection with our brilliant suppliers in the amazing countries we work with around the globe. And, most importantly, connection with you - our clients. That’s what makes our holidays so special.
Tailor-made travel starts with a blank sheet of paper and a conversation with one of our experts, and finishes with a holiday that’s been designed specifically for you by someone who knows and loves the country with a passion. Nothing is set, nothing is off-the-peg, or off limits.
We get to design unforgettable holidays for a living, and we love every second of it. But don't take our word for it - just one phone call with one of our brilliant travel experts, and you'll know exactly what we mean.
We like to do things differently
Here at HA, our experts are trusted to fully own their destinations, product, and every element of every holiday they design. They decide which local partners to work with, which hotels have that extra something special, and which quirky excursions will bring a trip to life. Every decision they make is based on real-life experience and passion, built up over countless weeks and months exploring and revisiting every corner of their specialist countries. We’ll never include something just to upsell – if it’s in your itinerary, it’s because we know it’s right for you. And we think working this way goes a long way towards making us the happy team we are, who genuinely love what we do.

How it works
We're firm believers that planning a holiday should feel exciting, not overwhelming. We’re here to make it personal, thoughtful and completely stress-free. We’ll get to know you properly, design a trip that's perfect for you, and support you every step of the way.

Designing your holiday
Your designated expert will get to work using their years of experience, first-hand knowledge and heaps of ideas to craft a holiday that feels completely yours. From quirky experiences to hand-picked hotels, every detail will reflect you and what you’re looking for from your well-deserved holiday.

Once you’re happy with the plan, we’ll take care of everything, so you can focus on the good bits. Enjoy the excitement of that holiday countdown and savour every moment of your trip, safe in the knowledge we’re just a call away if you need us.
Our awards
We’re proud to have picked up a fair few shiny accolades along the way. From our Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards that mean the world, to winning Best Workplace in Travel trophies multiple years on the trot, and a handful of local business awards recognising our team and customer service, too!
But what matters most is what those awards represent: happy clients, a brilliant team culture, and doing travel the right way.
Our Connection Days
Once a month, our whole team downs tools and meets up in person. We call these our Connection Days, and they're so important. They're a chance to talk travel, brainstorm ideas, and just enjoy each other’s company. Sometimes we volunteer locally, sometimes we explore a new area, sometimes we just eat a lot of cake. But we always come away feeling inspired and connected, which in turn spills over into the holidays we create. We're a happy bunch, these smiles speak for themselves...
