We can't talk about travel without talking about carbon. Getting to the places we love has an impact, and we'd rather be honest about that than pretend otherwise. That's why we've partnered with SCB Group, a B Corp-certified carbon specialist, to help offset the emissions created by the holidays we design.

Every Holiday Architects trip is tailor-made from scratch, so it's impossible to measure each one with complete accuracy, but we're doing our best! After a long testing period, we've worked out that offsetting costs around 1% of the value of a typical trip. That's the contribution you'll see included in your quote.

The B Corp certification is run by the non-profit B Lab, who look closely at how a business behaves across five areas: governance, workers, community, environment and customers. It’s a thorough process that checks whether a company is genuinely balancing profit with purpose, something that's always been a key focus for us here at HA.
