Gorilla tracking is sure to get the heart racing – not only will you come face to face with endangered mountain gorillas, but you’ll also be trekking through tropical rainforest at altitude. Combine this with a volcano climb in the iconic Virunga Volcano range, hikes to ancient caves, and walking or canoeing trails between lodges, and you have all the ingredients for an active adventure from start to finish.
If that’s not enough, spend a few days in Jinja, Uganda’s adrenaline capital, where you can tackle powerful white-water rapids, explore on quad bikes, or simply take in the dramatic scenery at the source of the Nile. It’s the perfect way to round off an exhilarating, adventure-filled journey.
If time or budget doesn’t allow for everything, speak to Catherine – she’ll be happy to tailor this adrenaline-fuelled itinerary to suit your specific interests and priorities.
