Our Airline Fuel Surcharge Guarantee now has no end date

We understand that things are a little uncertain right now. So, we want to make you a promise.Our promise (Updated 28 August 2026):Book your tailor-made holiday with Holiday Architects and, if your airline introduces an additional fuel surcharge after you book, we'll absorb the cost. Our Fuel Surcharge Guarantee no longer has an end date. What started as a promise for holidays booked before the end of August 2026, is now simply how we do business. Book your tailor-made holiday and flights with us, and if your airline adds a fuel surcharge after you've booked, we’ll absorb it. There’s no deadline, no catch, and no need to rush your decision. We know how important your holidays are, so we want to do our bit to give you that extra confidence in your decision when you go ahead.

If we've arranged your international flights as part of your tailor-made holiday, and your airline introduces an additional fuel surcharge after you've booked, you don't pay a penny more, we'll cover it.That's true whether you booked in June under the original guarantee, whether you're booking today, or whether you book with us next year. There's no cut-off to watch for and nothing you need to do to claim it, it's built into every tailor-made holiday we design.

The guarantee covers airline fuel surcharges introduced after you've booked.It doesn't cover:

• Changes to taxes, airport charges or government levies
• Visa fees
• Currency fluctuations
• Increases to accommodation or other supplier and transport costs
• Changes you choose to make to your holiday after booking

And it only applies where we've arranged your international flights. If you're sorting flights separately, this one's outside our control, so it won't apply.

This guarantee applies only to holidays where we have arranged your international flights as part of your booking.In other words, if you book your own flights separately, the guarantee won’t apply.The guarantee covers any airline fuel surcharge introduced after booking. It does not cover:

• Changes to taxes, airport charges or government levies
• Visa fees
• Currency fluctuations
• Increases to accommodation or other supplier and transport costs
• Changes you choose to make to your holiday after booking

This guarantee sits alongside our standard Booking Conditions.

We're committing to this for the long term, not as a short promotion with a deadline. As with any guarantee though, we do reserve the right to review it for new bookings in future. But, if you've already confirmed a holiday with us, whether that was in June or next week, that booking stays fully covered under our Fuel Surcharge Guarantee, whatever happens down the line. Once you're booked in under the guarantee, the promise is locked in with you.
