Fly overnight to Entebbe where you will be transferred to your hotel for the night. Spend the afternoon on an excursion across Lake Victoria to spot shoebills or relax and enjoy your first afternoon at the hotel.
Today, you’ll fly from Entebbe to Kidepo, where you’ll be met by your guide. Spend the afternoon on safari, exploring the wild landscapes of Kidepo National Park.
You have two full days on safari. The lodge is located near the Narus Valley, one of the best areas in the park for wildlife viewing. Enjoy memorable morning and afternoon activities, both on game drives and guided walks.
After a final early safari, you’ll be driven to Murchison Falls, a journey that takes the full day. If you choose to fly instead, you’ll arrive in time to enjoy afternoon activities from the lodge.
Over the next two days, you’ll enjoy a range of experiences in and around Murchison Falls National Park. Spend time on safari in the northern sector of the park, then head out on a delta cruise by boat, keeping a lookout for elephants, hippos, and other wildlife along the water’s edge. You’ll also venture into the Budongo Forest with your expert guide to track a habituated chimpanzee family, observing them in their natural habitat. From here, continue to the top of the falls to witness the raw power of the Nile as it forces its way through a narrow gap in the escarpment and plunges 141 feet to the river below.
Today, you’ll leave Murchison Falls and travel towards Jinja, stopping en route for a guided rhino tracking experience on foot at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. On arrival in Jinja, you’ll take a short boat transfer to your accommodation.
You have two full days in Jinja to be as active or relaxed as you like. Choose from a range of activities, from serene boat trips on the Nile and birdwatching to white-water rafting and quad biking, with plenty of other options available.
After a leisurely morning, take in the last views and atmosphere of Uganda before being transferred back to Entebbe Airport for your return flight to the UK.
