Your tailor-made holiday will be as unique as you are. These itineraries are just a starting point, a bit of inspiration to show what’s possible. Your own trip all starts with a conversation with one of our Uganda experts, who’ll take the time to understand what matters most to you and design the perfect holiday to match.
Neighbouring countries Uganda and Rwanda share access to the dramatic Virunga Volcano range and, between them, are home to the majority of the world’s mountain gorillas. For many, the close proximity makes it an easy decision to combine a visit to both, with gorilla tracking available in each country. It’s possible to add a Rwanda extension to any of our itineraries – just let us know if this is something you’d like to consider.
In addition to Uganda’s many highlights, a visit to Rwanda increases your chances of seeing rare golden monkeys, offers more tracking opportunities, and provides a chance to learn about the country’s recent history.
Here's a summary of what you might get up to day-to-day on this Uganda and Rwanda holiday. As always, this is just an idea. Every single day of your trip will be tailored to suit you.
