Pitching up a tent can also help reduce the cost of what is an otherwise expensive country for travellers. This self-drive itinerary takes in the Oman’s top scenery, as well as discovering the wealth of marine life that lives just of its waters through diving and snorkelling in and around Muscat. Combining a bit of sleeping under the stars with some of more low-cost (but very comfortable!) hotels, this is a trip full of freedom for you to see what you want, when you want.
