Biking Adventure in Al Hamra

The mountains and villages in the Nizwa area make for a gorgeous backdrop for a bike ride, and on this half-day excursion, you'll be taken on a two-wheeled tour around one of the most traditional villages in the region – Al Hamra. You'll start by meeting your guide just outside the village and riding your bike to a viewpoint where you can take in the scenery – here your guide will chat to you about some of the area's history. You'll continue into Al Hamra itself, cruising by the authentic mud houses that the settlements in this region are known for, before visiting the Bait Al Safah museum to learn about the local ways of living.

You'll move on through farming areas onto Al Qurya and Al Qulaa villages, taking in the magnificent views of the agriculture and mountains, before returning to your start point. With a local mountain bike guide to accompany you, you'll get all that extra info to help you understand the region better (and not have to worry about having a sense of direction!)
