If you're looking to venture a little off the beaten track, this adventurous self-drive holiday through northern British Columbia delivers just that. It's a journey through wild landscapes, remote coastal towns and endless forested backroads, perfect if you don’t mind covering some distance in search of something truly special.
Start in Vancouver before heading north to Campbell River and Port Hardy, where you’ll board the Inside Passage ferry, ready for a scenic sailing through fjords and rugged coastline to Prince Rupert. From there, it’s a slow, rewarding drive back to Vancouver through the heart of BC’s interior, passing through delightful little towns and some of the most tranquil stretches of wilderness in the country.
Keep an eye out for bears, eagles, whales and moose along the way, and take your time. This route is as much about the journey as it is the destination, with wide open roads, friendly locals, and Canada's wild landscapes every step of the way.

This time we embarked on a fly/drive tour around the west of Canada and the holiday build was excellent. Our point of contact was Paul Turner. We received an initial itinerary based on Paul's local knowledge and experience, and then over 3-4 phone calls, we honed it down in detail to our requirements and his recommendations.
