You will visit Tanzania’s largest National Park, a vast wilderness of immense biodiversity – nowhere else in Tanzania can you experience such a range of activities and wildlife in just a few days. The mighty Rufiji River is the lifeblood of the Park and you can enjoy fabulous boat safaris and walking activities in addition to the usual game drives. Wildlife highlights include lion, leopard, hippo, elephant, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, impala and the critically endangered wild dog. Birdlife ranks as some of the best in Africa with over 400 species.
Following your safari adventure, a short light aircraft flight will transport you to some of the best beaches in the Indian ocean. How you spend your time in Zanzibar is entirely up to you: take advantage of the world class snorkelling, diving and water activities; explore the island’s rich heritage with a tour of historical Stone Town; or pay a visit to a local spice farm; or just relax and do very little… it’s your holiday!

Your Tanzania adventure begins with an overnight flight from London to Dar es Salaam.
Connect with your light aircraft transfer to Nyere and then game drive to your safari lodge or camp.
Enjoy morning and afternoon safari activities from your camp, perhaps a game drive this morning followed by a boat safari in the afternoon on the Rufiji River
Walking safaris in Nyere National Park are also fantastic and best enjoyed first thing in the morning. After a rest at lunchtime, you might like to enjoy either an afternoon game drive or boat safari.
There is usually an opportunity for a final game drive on the way to the airstrip for your light aircraft to Zanzibar. You will be met on arrival and then transferred straight to your beach hotel where you can spend the rest of the day at leisure
You will be picked up today and taken to the airport for your flights back to the UK. There are day and night flights available back to the UK.
