This classic route explores the iconic wildlife destinations of northern Tanzania, combining epic scenery with prolific wildlife. You’ll start with Tarangire National Park where the dry season sees an immense concentration of wildlife including large herds of elephant, all set against a rugged landscape punctuated by baobab trees. Then on to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ngorongoro Crater – be prepared to be blown away by the impressive scale of the landscape and the abundance of wildlife. Finally you’ll arrive on to the plains of the Serengeti where we’ll try and place you as close as possible to one of the world’s most famous wildlife spectacles – the great wildebeest migration.
