4x4 Game Drives

There is nothing more exciting than setting off at sunrise for a game drive with your professional guide, the cool air of the morning adding to the anticipation and excitement of what the day will bring. All of our guides for Tanzania are trained to the highest level, with incredible knowledge of the country’s flora and fauna; this knowledge is not limited to the larger mammals, but includes the wider bio system and how each and every bird, animal, plant and insect plays their part in the circle of life. Game drives are often split into morning and afternoon activities, with the earlier slot departing as the sun rises and returning you to your camp or lodge mid-morning. The afternoon safari activity usually departs at around 15.30-16.00 and returns just after sunset. Some camps and lodges offer full day game drives for those that want to explore a little further afield, where you can bring a picnic lunch and find a shady spot to rest and enjoy it in the wilderness. Whether you choose a morning, afternoon or full day safari activity, you are sure to see something new on each and every game drive; keep your eyes peeled, because you never know what’s just around the next corner or bush…
