A five-minute walk to the north of the Jemaa El Fna, Palais Khum is an intriguing mix of architectural styles and influences. Each room is individually furnished, allowing the designers to take their cues from across the world and across the ages. Moroccan influences dominate, but large windows with black beading suggest Art Deco sympathies, whilst modern art work and black and white portraits give a more contemporary, sophisticated edge to things. The indoor pool is a real feature, jutting out into the courtyard, and running completely from one windowed wall to the opposite windowed wall.
