In the afternoon, take the free shuttle to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park to experience the rainforest walkways and views.
Day 3
Today you will collect your car and head to the ferry for your journey over to Vancouver Island. Once you arrive, you’ll drive up the coast, passing through charming seaside towns on your way to Campbell River.
Day 4
Today, you’ll set off on an incredible grizzly bear viewing excursion. Departing from Campbell River by boat, you’ll journey to the quiet inlets of the mainland, an area stewarded by the local First Nations community. From a safe distance, you’ll observe the bears grazing along the river estuaries and learn about the ecology of this untouched environment.
Day 5
Today, make your way north into the remote regions of Northern Vancouver Island. You can choose between Telegraph Cove, a historic fishing village known for its charming boardwalk and whale-watching opportunities, or Port Hardy, a gateway to the wilderness with rugged landscapes and rich First Nations culture. The two towns are about 50 minutes apart.
Day 6
Today, head to nearby Telegraph Cove for an exciting whale-watching trip. You’ll journey into the Johnstone Strait, where orcas are often seen in their natural habitat. Keep an eye out for other marine wildlife, including seals, porpoises, and a variety of coastal birdlife. It’s an unforgettable experience that showcases the rich marine diversity of this region.
Day 7
Board the Inside Passage ferry early this morning and set off through the breathtaking coastal scenery of British Columbia. As you journey north, keep an eye out for potential wildlife sightings, including whales, sea lions, and eagles. After a full day on the water, you’ll arrive in Prince Rupert in the late evening, ready to settle in for the night.
Day 8
Today, you have a free day to explore Prince Rupert. Take some time to visit the historic sites and museums that offer a fascinating look into the history of this remote trading port and its cultural heritage. From mid-May to mid-July, you also have the option to join a wildlife excursion into Khutzeymateen Provincial Park, home to one of the largest populations of grizzly bears in the region.
Day 9
From Prince Rupert, begin a scenic journey eastward along the Skeena Valley, a remote and beautiful region of British Columbia. Along the route, you’ll pass through a few small settlements, each with welcoming locals and striking landscapes. Take your time to enjoy the scenery before arriving in Smithers, where you’ll stay tonight.
Day 10
Continue your journey along the Skeena River Valley today. As the landscape begins to level out, you’ll travel through vast stretches of forest, with chances to discover remote lakes along the way. Take in the tranquil scenery as you make your way toward Prince George, where you’ll settle in for the night.

Your next stop on this journey is 100 Mile House, a small town with roots in the Cariboo Gold Rush era. Take some time to explore this historic area, surrounded by lakes and forests, before continuing on your adventure.
Day 13
Continue south to Cache Creek, then begin your journey into the Fitzsimmons Range mountains as you approach the resort town of Whistler. The road becomes a bit windier here, but the scenery grows more dramatic, with several stunning viewpoints where you can pause to take in the mountain landscapes along the way.
