Hotel overview

The Katari has an unbeatable location in central Arequipa, right on the edge of the cobbled Plaza de Armas. The hotel itself is impressive in its styling, with a fusion of colonial, Arequipan and pre-Colombian influences. Rooms are tastefully decorated with comfortable furnishings, Peruvian fabrics and many have exposed brick flooring. The Superior rooms do not have external windows, so it may be worth upgrading if you would like a view. The highlight of Katari is the wonderful roof terrace and restaurant, with its staggering panoramic views over the surrounding city and volcanoes.
