Teleferico Cable Car in Ecuador

For spectacular views over Quito take the teleferico or cable car. Built over an area of over 160 hectares on the outskirts of Pichincha, the cable car reaches heights of 4050 metres at the summit of Cruz Loma. Quito is surrounded by dramatic mountainous and volcanic landscapes, so on a clear day you are rewarded with sights of more than fourteen peaks. There is a development with cafes, shops and even an amusement park at the site.
