This harmonious resort blends into its lush backdrop, on the mountain side, well above the beach. It overlooks the Gulf of Thailand, Phuc Quoc Island and to the rear – Bokor Mountain.
The Veranda is quite a charming sprawling resort, with real personality. It has a back-to-nature feel with its raised wooden walkways and stones walls creating a line between the forested hillside and the property. The bungalow rooms are all different in style and facilities, but are all spacious and tastefully decked-out in timber and locally-inspired decorative touches. Private balconies look across to the sea.
The large salt-water swimming pool is the nicest in Kep. Its a pleasant spot in which to waste several days.
The lively open-air restaurant, set in a beautiful garden, offers Western, Asian, fresh seafood dishes and a BBQ grill menu as well as a wide selection wines, beers, spirits and cocktails.
The town and Kep beach are 15-20 minute walk down a steep incline. Seclusion is a key part of the concept here.
