Ratan Vilas

Built in the 1920’s by the great polo player, Maharaj Ratan Singhji of Raoti, Ratan Vilas is a warm, friendly and characterful guesthouse that is brimming with polo memorabilia and beautifully restored antique furniture.  It’s a genuine heritage house hotel, with simple yet elegant rooms and manicured lawns. The 15 rooms are situated around a central sunny courtyard, a perfect place for breakfast or simply reading a book in the sunshine.  The pool is definitely an added benefit.

It’s worth noting that planes can often be heard from Ratan Vilas, due to its location on the outskirts of the city. We didn’t find this a problem and feel this is one of the best value options in Jodhpur.
