Estancia Peuma Hue is one of our favourite lodges near Bariloche as it offers such a cosy home from home feel. This is a really tranquil retreat in an idyllic setting right next to Lake Gutierrez. It has a central lodge that is the focal point of the property for everyone to gather and get to know their fellow guests and then a series of smaller log cabin style buildings where rooms are located, also with cosy lounges. The atmosphere here is so warm and friendly, also with superb levels of service and hospitality and two delightful resident dogs who love to meet new guests.

Traditionally furnished rooms with chunky wooden furniture and colourful local textiles are dotted among the main lodge and smaller lodges with just a few in each. This makes it a good option for families who can take over a smaller lodge in its entirety. Being a few steps from the lake makes it a great spot for fly-fishing, horse-riding, kayaking and sailing and there is a network of trails that you can explore from the lodge as well, the dogs know the way! Excellent hearty and fresh meals are usually included as you are in such a secluded setting. A great base for exploring the Lakes and absorbing its beauty.
