Excursion Overview
Today head to a beautiful tranquil area in a secluded part of the Lakes for some leisurely hiking with a difference! The Andean Trail tour picks you up from around Bariloche area and takes you to Bahia Lopez, from where a leisurely 30 minute walk brings you deep into woodland and then to some beautiful natural balconies looking out over the Tristeza arm of Lake Nahuel Huapi in the midst of mountains and blue lake. A short half an hour ascent brings you to another viewpoint for great views of Mt Tronador and its seven glaciers. Your efforts are rewarded with a picnic lunch and Argentine wine. For the more adventurous, there are also options to try a 40 metre rappel before lunch or kayaking in the afternoon on the lake, before heading back to your hotel.
