Take the famous Lakes Crossing from Bariloche to Puerto Varas in Chile or vice versa – it’s a classic with very good reason as the scenery is really dramatic. This spectacular full day crossing of the Andes Mountain Range by road and boat navigates across 3 different lakes and mountain passes of immense natural beauty. From Argentina depart from Puerto Panuelo near the Llao Llao hotel to sail across Lake Nahuel Huapi first towards Puerto Blest. Transfer by road to Alegre for your next water crossing of Frias Lake, crystal clear waters surrounded by mountain ranges. Cross the border and then continue via Peulla to Todos Los Santos Lake and Petrohue Falls before arriving in Puerto Varas on the shores of Lake Llanquihue in the shadow of dramatic volcanic peaks.
