The tremendous hard work of the local villagers, friends and family of Mr Linh has led to the opening of this beautiful homestay on the shores of the world’s only freshwater Karst Lake in the heart of BaBe National Park. Choosing a homestay is about wanting to experience local life, and Mr Linh’s family are extremely welcoming and offer you a genuine ‘home from home’ experience, though with a little more added luxury than some options we have seen! Spend time swinging in the hammocks, dining with the family and spending hours learning about local life in this mountainous setting.

Mr Linhs house is newly built with western standard bathrooms, hot water, comfortable beds, fresh white linens and mosquito nets to keep the bugs at bay. The facilities are kept sparkling clean and the homestay even has cable TV and fast wifi, though with the amount of local tours on offer and the stunning limestone mountain backdrop, we are sure you would rather sit on the balcony soaking up the views or explore the beautiful surroundings.

Mr Linh invites you to dine with his family, enjoying delicious Vietnamese cuisine prepared from fresh local produce collected from the markets, fields and the lake. The food is lovingly cooked over an open fire in the traditional way but there is no Western fare here, although specific diets can be catered for by the family chefs. Mr Linh feels it is most important that the village should benefit from any visitors, and so all his staff are locals.  The young, enthusiastic team are very professional and offer excellent service, as well as ensuring you an extremely fun and memorable village stay.
