Excursion Overview
This full day train journey is one of the most scenic in South America and often a highlight of any overland trip through Peru. You will take the 10 hour journey in comfortable, first class carriages (PeruRail service) with regular refreshments, three course lunch and afternoon tea served to you on board. You can stretch you legs in the observation car to admire the dramatic views of the Andes to becoming the altiplano, and the train will also make a stop at the (often snowcapped) mountain pass of La Raya before arriving in Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca.
