Excursion Overview
Today’s tour will take you around some of the key districts and attractions of Peru’s capital city. You will begin in the modern, affluent districts of Miraflores and San Isidro where people are drawn to the Pacific views, leafy parks and squares and some of the best restaurants in the city. You will then transfer to the city centre and the colonial heart of Lima to take in the Plaza de Armas (main historic square), backed by the austere cathedral. You will tour the cathedral as well as visiting the ornate San Francisco monastery and its vast catacombs.
