Excursion Overview
You will set out with your guide on a two-hour tour in search of some of the 170 recorded species of bird that can be found in San Gerardo’s tropical cloud forests. Amongst those you may spot are the long-tailed silky flycatcher, the Flame-coloured tanager, the Emerald toucanet, the Collared redstart and seven species of hummingbird. You may take some of the journey by vehicle or entirely on foot, depending on the season and the best recent sightings.
