The Serai

The Serai is a luxurious safari style tented camp one hour from the medieval city of Jaisalmer. The 21-tented suites sit within a 100-acre private estate, the perfect location for camel safaris, sundowners on the dunes, as well as lazing around the pool. The 14 Tented Suites, six Luxury Suites and one Royal Tented Suite are all the same size, with luxurious safari style furnishings, fluffy towels and super-king size beds. The added benefit of the Luxury Suites is the private courtyard and the Royal Tented Suite has a private pool. Meals are served in the main pavilion tent and the food is beautiful presented and executed. It’s also possible to dine al-fresco under the stars. This is one of the most luxurious tented camps in Rajasthan, and despite the price tag, we think it’s well worth it.
