Excursion Overview
You will meet the rest of the group at a pre-arranged time today and get kitted out for your scenic mountain biking tour to some of the most impressive sites in the Sacred Valley. Your route will pass the vast Huaypo Lake, heading towards the archaeological site of Moray. Continue on along a bridle path that leads you to the village of Maras, where you will stop to enjoy a scenic picnic lunch. From here, the rest of the route is downhill as you head towards the impressive Maras Inca salt mines, with a stop to visit the site before completing the tour in Tarabamba. Tour duration is approximately three hours - entrance fees to archaeological sites are payable locally, but your picnic lunch, all cycling equipment and guide services are included.
