Exploring Cotopaxi National Park

Head forty miles south of Quito through the stunning Avenue of Volcanoes to Cotopaxi National Park. The journey itself is pretty special and is an impressive part of the tour. The Cotopaxi Volcano is one of the most important sites in Ecuador, and is the highest active volcano in the world. Explore the lush endemic flora and fauna, including the chuquiragua or mountaineer’s flower, wild horse and roaming deer and llamas.
