Excursion Overview
The Cousino Macul is a one of the oldest vineyards in the Maipo Valley, producing hearty merlots, full bodied cabernet sauvignons, a light sauvignon gris and a rounded chardonnay. Owned and run by the same family for seven generations, they offer an excellent 90-minute tour that includes an overview of the production process and its techniques, a trip to the cellars and the all-important tasting session. A great introduction to the region and wine production in general.
