Explore the cosmopolitan city of Buenos Aires with its diverse mix of traditional, quirky and uber-modern districts from north to south. Start in the leafy chic districts of Palermo and Recoleta, home to designer shopping and elegant palaces and parks. Recoleta Cemetery is worth a visit as another mini city within the city, also the final resting place of Evita, one of the country’s most famous figures. Then explore downtown around Playa de Mayo and the Casa Rosada before heading to the hip Madero port area. Return to more traditional colonial style in San Telmo, famed for its Sunday antiques market and end in colourful and lively La Boca, once popular with immigrants from Europe and now filled with cafes and street dancers.
