Equally, even Petra offers more adventure than the standard tours would suggest: You can take the twisting Tunnel Siq, clambering down the dried-up river bed into the heart of this majestic site, or even the “Back-door”, which requires a head for heights but will get you from Little Petra to the Monastery before the crowds arrive!
