Corcovado National Park hike

Depart your lodge this morning for a guided walk through the humid jungle trails of the renowned Corcovado National Park. This reserve boasts pristine rainfalls, waterfalls and rivers, and your expert guide will tell you all about the unique flora and fauna to be found here. Keep on the lookout for some of the bewildering number of species that make this park their home, including scarlet macaws, glass frogs, caimans and basilisk lizards well as weird and wonderful mammals such as tapirs, margay and giant anteaters.

Caño Island snorkelling

This half-day tour takes you by boat to a snorkelling site known as the Coral Garden, located in a protected marine reserve close to Caño Island. Visibility and currents can vary here, so you need to be a relatively confident swimmer to get the most out of a visit, but you will be rewarded with the opportunity to glimpse a good variety of colourful fish and other marine species such as turtles, manta rays and small white-tipped sharks.
