Tweedsmuir Park Lodge is set on 60 acres of private land on the edge of majestic Tweedsmuir Provincial Park. It offers luxurious accommodation in traditional timber chalets set amongst the leafy grounds which are often frequented by bears and other wildlife. Each of the nine private chalets offers a comfortable sleeping space, en suite bathroom, eco-friendly toiletries, coffee machine and WiFi and work from local artists is showcased on the walls. The main lodge houses a large living and dining room with games area and this is where guests gather for freshly-prepared meals and to share experiences from the day. Packed lunches are provided for activities that take you out for the day.
The lodge offers an exceptional opportunity to see grizzly bears in Autumn, when they gather along the edge of the nearby Atnarko and Bella Coola Rivers to catch the salmon. However, this is also a fantastic place to visit at any point during the summer – with a range of nature walks and other activities on offer, such as fishing, river floats, heli-hiking and bird watching.
