Holland America uses several ships to journey along the Inside Passage, all of which are fairly similar in style and facilities and all of which offer travellers an fantastic cruise experience in this beautiful part of the world. The boats carry between 1,500 and 2,100 passengers and offer comfortable staterooms (cabins) set over several decks, ranging from good value interior staterooms to spacious luxury suites, with many variations on size and outlook. However, all have twin/queen beds, flat screen television and at minimum an en suite washroom with toilet and shower; larger suites have a full bathroom. On board you will find a selection of eating options offering casual fare and more formal dining as well as comfortable lounges and lively bars. For relaxation you can enjoy the swimming pool, fitness centre, spa or games room. In the evenings there is nightly entertainment in the form of dynamic shows, sing-a-longs in the piano bar, or you can simply wrap up and enjoy a sundowner on the deck. A good selection of shore excursions are available at each port (all charged) so you can really explore the scenery and culture of this area.
