Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains are home to a small population of black bears and this tour takes you by 4wd drive vehicle along the mountain tracks to look for them in their natural habitat. You will stop at popular feeding sites, rub trees, daybeds and places where they have hibernated over winter and learn about bear behaviour along the way. You will also keep an eye out for other wildlife such as black-tailed deer, coyote, grouse, hawks and marmots and even if you don’t spot any bears this tour is a lovely way to experience the mountain scenery around Whistler. The whole tour takes around three hours and involves several short walks.
