Jaipur Bazaars Evening Walking Tour

Our absorbing and compelling evening walking tour is designed for those interested in traditional life. Here you'll discover the intoxicating bazaars, ancient heritage houses, Jaipur's temple cuisine and local crafts as you stroll with your expert guide through the meandering walkways. Your guide will educate you on some of the 4000 or more temples that sprinkle the walled city. They will also show you local artisans working on specialised art such as Zardozi embroidery and silver ointment work. You'll be led to the historic houses of noblemen, jewellers and the queen's entourages and will be introduced to the 'real' food of the city. You'll also visit bangles makers and miniature painters. You'll mainly be visiting the areas of Badi Chaupad and Johari Bazaar, these are incredibly old market places brimming with local people so expect crowds and some unclean streets. This tour normally begins at 4.30pm when the area really comes to life.
