Captain Dan, a boutique homestay, has created a unique stay that can surely not be missed. He lives in the property on the ground floor  and rents the second floor in the greenest and quietest neighbourhood of Chandigarh. Captain Dan is widely travelled, having been in the Merchant Navy for more than 30 years, and with a passion for art, he has built up a massive collection of paintings and other artifacts worldwide. There are also many photos and portraits harking back to his days as a model and Bollywood villain. The rooms are large and well-furnished, with a spacious shared balcony.

The major tourist attractions of Chandigarh, Rock Garden and Sukhna Lake, and the shopping hubs are all within a short five-minute driving distance. For meals other than breakfast, delivery can be ordered for lunch and dinner, or the homestay can recommend local restaurants. An in-house laundry facility is available. The staff here in the homestay are competent and courteous and respond promptly on their mobile phones via WhatsApp messaging.
