Black Rhino Game Lodge is located in the 58,000 hectare malaria-free Pilanesburg National Park, just a 3-hour drive from Johannesburg Airport. Set in a valley at the foot of an ancient volcanic crater, the lodge is surrounded by a Tamboti Forest and overlooks a busy waterhole. Thatched and spacious rooms open out onto a small deck area that stretches into the bush. The main lodge’s guest spaces include a bar, lounge and a restaurant that opens out to a deck with lovely forest vistas and comfortable seating. When not on game drives or bird watching in the reserve, perhaps soak up the sun in a lounger, or cool off in the pool. Wholesome meals may be enjoyed in the restaurant or boma under the stars.
