Kelowna is made for cycling, and an e-bike is such a brilliant way to explore more of the Okanagan without it ever feeling like hard work. With the extra boost when you want it, you can cruise the lakeside paths, head out towards vineyard country, or tackle the area’s hillier routes while still keeping the day relaxed and fun.
One of the nicest touches here is the optional app with curated routes. It takes the faff out of planning and helps you pick a ride that matches your mood, whether that’s an easy waterfront loop with coffee stops, a scenic spin past orchards and wineries, or something a bit more adventurous. You can go at your own pace, stop whenever you like for photos, and generally just enjoy the freedom of having your own wheels for a few hours.
If you’d like something more “iconic Okanagan”, the Myra Canyon trestles experience is a real highlight. You’ll head up to Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park and ride a beautifully flat, accessible trail along the old Kettle Valley Railway line, crossing a string of wooden trestle bridges and passing through historic tunnels with big views out over the valley. It’s the sort of route that feels special even if you’re not a keen cyclist, and the e-bike makes it easy for most fitness levels.
For a classic Kelowna day out, the e-bike wine experience is another lovely option. It’s a relaxed way to combine gentle cycling with tastings at a handful of wineries, plus lunch, so it feels more like a day of exploring and grazing than a “tour” in the traditional sense.
