Start your visit with a trip to the Da Ku Cultural Centre, which also houses the Kluane National Park and Reserve Visitor Centre. The cultural centre celebrates the culture and traditions of the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations people through guided tours, talks, artwork, and artefacts. The visitor centre features world-class exhibits about Kluane’s stunning landscapes, as well as the unique flora and fauna that thrive within it. Together, these centres provide a fascinating insight into the cultural and natural heritage of this part of the Yukon and are a must-do during your time here.
If you wish to venture into the park, you’ll be rewarded with endless walking trails through awe-inspiring scenery. Maps are available at the visitor centre, offering routes that range from short strolls to more challenging hikes. Permits for hiking are also available here, making it easy to plan your adventure.
