Calgary Stampede

Taking place every July the Calgary Stampede is one of Canada’s most iconic events, combining traditional cowboy entertainment, such as rodeo riding and chuck wagon racing, with some modern festival flare to create a rip-roaring ten days of fun. People come from far and wide to enjoy the shows, exhibitions and other entertainment at the Stampede Ground. Live music, agricultural demonstrations, fairground rides, an arts and craft showcase, parades and competitions keep the whole family entertained until, at the end of the day, a spectacular fireworks display lights up the sky.

Tickets to the main races give you entry to the whole grounds for a day and with so much to see and do we recommend spreading your time over two days so you don’t feel too rushed.
