Hotel Sacacomie

Hotel Sacacomie is a large resort-style property tucked away in the Laurentian Mountains, with a beautiful outlook over the forested hills and nearby lakes. It is located about 20 minutes from Saint-Alexis-des-Monts and designed with nature in mind. A fantastic range of outdoor activities are available from here, from making the most of the property’s own private beach or leisurely kayaking on the lake, to 4WD excursions in to nearby Mastigouche wildlife reserve to look for bears and beavers. The grand, wooden building houses a range of large but cosy guest rooms, with a rustic feel and simple amenities – there are no televisions here, though Wi-Fi is available throughout. There is a large dining room offering a menu of local specialities and adjoining bar, both with a terrace that overlooks the lake. The spa offers a range of treatments as well as indoor and outdoor hot tubs, a steam bath, ice-water bath and sauna, and thus is the ideal place to restore any aching muscles.
