Via Rail Corridor Service

The Corridor services operated by Canada’s national rail network shuttle between the eastern cities of Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec. This offers a fantastic alternative to driving, giving you the opportunity to relax and take in the scenery as it whizzes past. Trains have large panoramic windows and offer either comfortable economy class seats or the more spacious business class seats, which also come with a complimentary meal, glass of wine, newspapers and tea/coffee. Power outlets for computers or other devices are available in both classes.

Ottawa Rideau Canal Cruise

The Rideau Canal is a chain of beautiful lakes, rivers and canals winding 202 km from Kingston, at the head of Lake Ontario, to Ottawa, Canada’s capital city. This lovely Ottawa River cruise offers the finest views along the waterway. With departures from the Hull Marina in Jacques Cartier Park and the Ottawa Dock, located at the foot of the Ottawa Locks, this one and a half hour boat trip is the most thorough tour available on the water. The vessel Paula D, is ideal for an excursion of this type. You can relax and enjoy a hot or cold beverage on the large upper deck and on the lower deck you will find a nice snack bar (with permission to sell alcohol).
