Creekside RnR

Creekside RnR is a wonderfully off-grid feeling riverside retreat near Cocagne, around 15 minutes north of Shediac. Set on a secluded stretch of land with the creek running through it, it’s designed for switching off properly, with a calm, grown-up atmosphere and a real focus on nature, comfort, and little luxuries.

Accommodation is deliberately small-scale and distinctive, with just eight air-conditioned units split between luxury glamping domes and sleek mirror cabins. The domes are ideal for couples or small families, with a king bed on the main floor and two twin beds up in a loft, plus a star-gazing window above the bed. Each dome has a proper kitchen and bathroom, a wood pellet stove for cooler evenings, and your own private hot tub behind a privacy fence, along with a barbecue for easy meals outdoors.

The mirror cabins are more tailored to couples, with a king bed, a kitchenette, and a bathroom with underfloor heating, as well as a fireplace for cosy nights in. Outside, you’ll find a cedar hot tub, a fire pit, and a covered outdoor cooking area with a barbecue, plus a separate star-gazing dome with a daybed, which is a lovely touch for quiet evenings under the sky.

On site, there’s a wood-fired pizza restaurant, along with a full Nordic spa and wellness centre offering things like saunas, steam rooms, and treatments such as massages and red light therapy (payable locally). If you fancy being active, there are nature trails, fat bikes, and access to the creek for canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding, with a small wharf on the water. Practicalities are straightforward too, with WiFi and parking included, and you can even arrange locally catered food boxes delivered to your unit if you’d rather keep things simple.
