Plenty of Africa’s big-game icons can be seen here, and when they are spotted, it's likely to be against some spectacular backdrops. The desert-adapted elephants and giraffes in the moonscapes of Damaraland, lions and zebras gathered on Etosha’s bone-white saltpan, and the shifting lushness of the Caprivi Strip, where crocs and hippos slip through waters that are more akin to the classic wetlands of Botswana. It's magic.
