Excursion Overview
Dubai is fast, modern and advanced, but the city is traditional too with its rich history rooted in Middle-Eastern values. This afternoon we have arranged for you to take a guided tour, during which you will discover the role of merchants in Dubai's growth by wandering through the cobbled streets of Fahidi Cultural Neighbourhood. Drive along the 'Beach Road' and stop for a photo outside the Jumeirah Mosque, and pass by Zabeel Palace.
You will also visit Dubai Museum, housed in the spectacular 18th century Al Fahidi Fort, followed by a ride on the Abra (water taxi) to the enchanting Spice and Gold Souks in Deira. You will have some time at leisure in the souks, before getting dropped back off at your hotel. Modest dress and comfortable shoes are recommended. (Please note that you'll be picked up from your hotel between 1-3pm depending on your location, and Arabian Adventures will contact you directly to confirm your time.)
