An in-depth experience of the Cameron Highlands – discover the famous tea plantations, trek in the mist of Mount Brinchang Mossy Forest, visit a local Tea Factory and explore the undergrowth of the rainforest on foot.
Journey into the highlands by 4WD with your experienced nature guide. Photo opportunities of the plantations are aplenty before a tea tasting. From February to October the easy platform walk is available for those not keen to trek. Learn about the medicinal plants, local spices, primitive ferns and pitcher plants that grow in this region. An enlightening experience your guide will give you a rich introduction to the eco-system of the rainforests. From here head to the BOH Tea Factory for a well earn cup of the highlands finest refreshment.
A local lunch will be enjoyed in a nearby restaurant to fuel you ready for the afternoon trekking. Proceed to the Montane rainforest where you will embark on a 3 hour trek discovering the diversity of the Cameron rainforest. The walk itself is relatively easy, however a maze of tree routes will mean some agility is required.
