Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains are home to a small population of black bears, and this tour takes you by 4WD vehicle along the mountain tracks to search for them in their natural habitat. You will stop at popular feeding sites, rub trees, daybeds, and places where they have hibernated over winter, learning about bear behaviour along the way.
You’ll also keep an eye out for other wildlife, such as black-tailed deer, coyotes, grouse, hawks, and marmots. Even if you don’t spot any bears, this tour is a wonderful way to experience the stunning mountain scenery around Whistler. The whole tour takes around three hours and includes several short walks.
