For those looking for something really unique in Zambia then why not consider Kasanka National Park - home to the largest mammal migration on earth.Taking placebetween October and December each year, over 10 million fruit bats descend into Kasanka National Park. A breath-taking sight even for the most experienced traveller.

Wasa lodge isn't luxurious, but offers a small, comfortable base to explore Kasanka. There is a total of7 chalets - 4 large chalets, and 3 smaller rondavels, all of which are set amongst the trees, or overlooking the lake. The chalets are larger, and all have double and single beds in the room, a verandah and a simple shower, basin and flush toilet in an en-suite bathroom. The smaller chalets have double or twin beds and an en-suite bathroom with flush toilets and simple bucket showers.

Amongstthe chalets is a tree-top platform, a stunning sunrise spot listening togrunting hippo, grazing puku, and hungry fish eagles.End the day with a delicious meal at the restaurant with a view, and tuck into a chair at the cosy bar for a few cold drinks to accompany the tales from the days safari.
